The ICTMD Study Group on Sacred and Spiritual Sounds and Practices cordially invites proposals for our upcoming second symposium that will be held in the beautiful city of Szeged, Hungary, on the theme:

Roots and Routes: Ritual and Liturgical Creativity in Sacred and Spiritual Music Traditions.

The deadline for abstract submission is April 30, 2026. Please submit an abstract of 300 words, accompanied by a short bio (100-150 words) to sacredandspiritualsound@gmail.com by April 30, 2026.

Notification of acceptance will be sent by May 15, 2026.

The registration fee for the symposium is 50 euros.
