A Non-Governmental Organization in Formal Consultative Relations with UNESCO
Guidelines for submission will be published in the October 2013 issue of the Bulletin of the ICTM.
Presented here are the names of candidates for election to the Executive Board nominated by the Nomination Committee, together with their statements about themselves and their potential contributions as Board members. The names were selected from proposals made by National Committees, individual members (two from different countries for each proposal), and the Executive Board. There was a very strong response to the invitation for proposals published in the October 2012 Bulletin.
Corporate Memberships are available to institutions, libraries, regional scholarly societies, radio-television organisations and other corporate bodies.
The costs and benefits of Corporate Memberships have been carefully reviewed, and starting in 2013, Corporate Memberships will be more flexible and affordable than ever before.
Dear members, subscribers, friends, and supporters of ICTM worldwide!
A rich and exciting year in the history of our favourite ethnomusicological society is coming to an end, thus creating the best possible timing for looking both into the twelve months behind us and into those ahead.
The Yearbook for Traditional Music requires a Film/Video Reviews Editor to replace Lisa Urkevich, who will be stepping down from this position at the end of 2013. The Film/Video Reviews Editor is responsible for soliciting, coordinating, and editing up to five reviews of film or video publications for each Yearbook, totalling c. 2500 words. Reviews are then sent on to the General Editor by a specified deadline.
Don Niles, the General Editor of the Yearbook for Traditional Music, has informed the Executive Board that he will be stepping down after publication of the 2013 Yearbook. The Executive Board has established a committee to find a new General Editor. This committee consists of Adrienne Kaeppler, Stephen Wild, Svanibor Pettan, and Don Niles.
